Actions in the OAE's bond markets closed on a positive note on Tuesday, setting new technical records, particularly in the Abu Dhabi market. Sectors of banks and real estate showed the best results, while other industries also performed well.
The Central Bank of the OAE has approved a new rule that allows financial institutions until 2023 to disclose information about credits provided to clients, their credit history, as well as debts. It is expected that this change will enhance transparency and help borrowers make more informed decisions.
"The regulatory framework that we are establishing will help establish accountability in risk management aimed at protecting financial institutions," said the governor of the central bank.
On the other hand, the national airline of the OAE announced plans to resume flights to India after the lifting of restrictions related to the pandemic. In this context, it is anticipated that the improvement of the situation regarding international air travel may contribute to the revival of the tourism industry and strengthen economic ties between countries.
